5 Perks That Will Keep Your Employees Motivated to Give Their Best

5 Perks That Will Keep Your Employees Motivated to Give Their Best
  1. Flexibility in the Workplace - Let the employee work where they feel most comfortable, within the company or at home. Of course, this does not mean that they will be permanently working from home; but if they do so 3-4 times per week and you are satisfied that they are working, you should permit them to do so. Freedom to work from where they are most comfortable is a priceless perk - especially for single parents.

  2. Freedom from the Boss - This allows the employees to take off when they need to run an errand without the express permission from the boss or applying for leave. People actually accomplish a lot when such freedom is offered because they feel accountable for the time they spent on their own chores and they tend to give more to the company than they take. This freedom also implies that the employer has a great trust in its employees, which further motivates them to give their best.

  3. Flexitime - The best companies do not have fixed time schedules anymore. The employees are permitted to come in when it is most comfortable for them and go when they need to go as long the total working hours per week is fulfilled. Once again the freedom of come and go as most suitable is a highly valued perk, which most employees appreciate very highly. It also shows that the productivity of employees improves when this type of flexibility is offered.

  4. Be Generous in Appreciation - Appreciate hard working and high achievers in the organization. Ensure that the appreciation is done in front of the whole team, the whole company if possible. Have events and ceremonies that announce the outstanding achievements of your workers and celebrate it with the team. Appreciation is an exceptional high, and once it is experienced, it cannot be forgotten. This is an exceptional motivator to your employees, who will never stop doing their best in order to gain recognition in front of their team.

  5. Pay More Than the Market Average - The pay scale is another very important motivator. Great employers pay well; they pay better than the average pay scale in the market. Besides the salary, there will be health benefits, life insurance, pension schemes, etc., that will help the employees feel more secure about themselves and their families.
