Job Description: The East Montgomery County QMHP will be based at the East Montgomery County Crisis Expansion Center located in the Porterwood Shopping Center in Porter, TX. The position works 12 hour shifts which rotate 3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off every two weeks. The position is considered essential and will work both holidays and weekends. The EMC QMHP is responsible for providing crisis services at the EMC and in the community. This position is to provide assessments and appropriate crisis intervention services. Community settings may include homes, hospitals, jails, and schools. This position is on site at the EMC and will also participate in office based assessments and follow ups. This position will work with a team of other clinicians, medical staff and law enforcement. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field. Applicants must qualify as Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as defined by Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Mental Health experience is preferred.
