An executive consultant leads all analytical efforts and serves as a contractor\'s senior technical consultant. An executive consultant is expected to help develop, integrate, and continuously improve processes associated with the business management integration process and associated sub-processes. As an executive consultant, one has to interact with government experts to ensure that needed capabilities are properly specified in appropriate acquisition documentation. Furthermore, an executive consultant is required to facilitate group sessions to assist in the knowledge transfer for all aspects of the contract objectives. The executive consultant should also have demonstrated an ability to plan, implement, and manage complex tasks.
Executive consultants typically have a university degree and at least five years of experience in business development along with three years of experience in business continuity and disaster recovery. An in-depth knowledge of business continuity strategies, processes (high availability, recovery, and security), and enabling technologies (large systems, mid-range systems, and storage systems) is also required for executive consultant jobs.
