Job Description:

As part of the Procurement & Sourcing team within Supply Chain organization, the Sourcing & Supplier Leader will be responsible for understanding internal customers ‘needs, identifying and qualifying the best-match suppliers; managing the suppliers ‘relationship.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Acts as the day to day first point of contact for the Procurement team in E&M Center for all non-standard procurement requests, to include leading and communicating information, issues and initiatives etc.
Provides support and training to requesters on procurement process and systems
Manages return of products to vendors
Supports Procurement team locally in Expediting where direct local supplier contact is critically required or in case of issue (Logistics, Quality, NCRs, etc )
Collaborates with Center teams to support and improve compliance to procurement process channels as per the Procurement policy and SOP at the site.
Maintains the communication matrix between the SLB E&M Center and suppliers and will act as a point of contact for escalation
Communicates with Center management on a regular basis on the performance levels of the P2P Metrics (OTD, Past Dues, PO Acknowledgment, Root cause of supplier delays etc.)
Liaises with Procurement Leader on preparation of Procurement service level reports and feedback on improvement suggestions
Drives continuous improvement projects
Ensures compliance with Procurement Processes and SLB CLM Procedures.
Prepares Power Point Slides for Procurement Metrics for Quarterly and Annual Supplier Quality and Business reviews.
Participates in SQ investigations

Qualifications and competencies:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Procurement or related functional expertise (Planning, Operations Procurement, etc)
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or logistics (or comparable degree) or equivalent work experience
Understanding of procurement & sourcing systems, SAP, Oracle, or other ERPs.
Basic knowledge of local supplier landscape
Good leadership skills
Basic technical business knowledge to be capable of managing local supplier interactions and quotes
Negotiation skills
Able to analyze and solve problems.
Passion for customer service
Effective at cross-functional teamwork
Strong skill in use of Microsoft Office.
Fluent in English
