JOB DUTIES
JOB SUMMARY

*Function as an internal control specialist *Perform testing and documentation assignments to support Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 compliance; including assessing the IT general controls related to the company's IT systems and data *Perform operational, information technology, financial and compliance-related audits in line with the internal audit plan (i.e. IT-related procedures and/or integration of data analytics *Perform IT-related audits of the company's IT systems, IT processes and information security *Conduct pre-implementation and post-implementation system reviews *Support management through special projects on an as needed basis (i.e., implementation of data analytic tools) *Reports to the Manager of Internal Audit

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

*Create and update risk assessments and process documentation *Test design and operating effectiveness of internal controls *Analyze and evaluate internal control matters for assessment *Document suggestions for improvements in internal control *Assist in writing audit reports with result of findings and recommendations *Control evaluation of outsourced operations, including documentation of user controls *Compile and analyze data to identify trends, variances, and inconsistencies *Assist in carrying out Internal Audit's roadmap for implementing a data analytics program *Assist in external auditor requests *Perform field audit visits and oversight visits to the Company locations *Assist in special projects as need arises and time permits *Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

*Education-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or related field *5 years of experience desirable *Skills- Strong PC abilities and literacy in Excel, Word, Access, Visio, and SAP and ability to quickly gain working knowledge as needed in other software *Working knowledge of data analytics software is preferred (ACL, IDEA, Tableau) *Skill in the use of personal computers and software applications *Be detail-oriented and have a working understanding of IT-related concepts *Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions *Working understanding of Sarbanes Oxley (Sections 302-404) compliance *Ability to document process maps and information flow charts *Ability to work closely with all level of staffing, up to and including executives *Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written *Personal flexibility to travel, occasionally extensively, via air or car *Develop professionally through on the job and internal and external training or certifications (i.e., CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must possess the physical strength, stamina and dexterity to count inventory, verify equipment serial numbers, photograph assets as needed to support the physical inventory, operational audit, and due diligence requirements of the Internal Auditor position.
