Water Street, 3rd Floor, 44240 REQUISITION ID:158796 POSITION OVERVIEW We are currently looking to add a dynamic Design Engineer to our passionate team of environmental professionals. We are seeking hard working, experienced person(s) with a strong background in AutoCAD to provide support to engineers and other designers by preparing routine layouts, details, sketches, and diagrams. JOB DUTIES Selected candidates will utilize computer assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD Civil 3D/AutoCAD Architecture) software to develop and revise design and drawings. Some of the essential functions will be: • Draw finished designs from initial sketches • Conduct site visits to collect the needed field data and to produce sketches of the existing conditions. • Provide collaborative support to work on production jobs by assisting with drawings, preparation, file maintenance, and organization • Meet and communicate with internal team members and external clients to review ongoing design work and provide project updates • Utilize knowledge of engineering practices, residential construction methods, mathematics, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
