Senior Stream Restoration/Water Resources Engineer

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking a senior civil/environmental or biological engineer with a passion for wetlands, streams, and water resources. Projects will include stream restoration, low impact development, wetlands mitigation design, and floodplain studies. Primary duties will include:
• Stream restoration design, project drawings
• Stream assessment and monitoring
• Stream restoration construction oversight
• SWM/LID/BMP design
• Wetlands mitigation design, project drawings
• Floodplain studies
• Clean Water Act permitting
• Chesapeake Bay Critical Area delineation
• Chesapeake Bay preservation studies and approvals
• Preparing presentations for hearings and client review
• Other civil and environmentally-related studies
• Autodesk computer aided design work
• Project Management
• Client Interaction

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental or biological engineering, or closely related discipline (experience considered in lieu of engineering degree)
• 10 years of relevant experience
• PE (or EIT with ability to sit for exam within one year of starting; experience considered in lieu of license)
• Experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and TR-55

Preferred:
• Rosgen Levels I - IV (or equivalent) stream assessment and restoration training
• Experience working with a diverse client base in both the public and private sectors
• Master's degree in civil/environmental or biological engineering, or closely related discipline
