WHAT YOU'LL DO:

*Monitor and assist with road building, reclamation or forestry activities associated with new construction. *Assist in problem analysis and development of compliance strategies with limited direct supervision or direction. *Assist in the development of and conducting of environmental compliance training. *Assist in inspecting, provides advice on operations, construction, procedures, records and training to ensure compliance with environment/agricultural requirements prescribed in laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

*Love of the outdoors and the ability to work and hike in rugged terrain and inclement weather. *Ability to read and follow GIS data and maps; ability to work independently. *Leadership experience and a desire for career growth will be given a priority. *Demonstrated expertise in problem solving, meeting deadlines, and technical innovation. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Availability and desire to travel throughout the utility service area. *Valid Driver's License with clean DMV driving record and ability to drive and operate a 4x4 vehicle. *Ability to identify local tree species & growth rates. *Organizational skills; working knowledge of computers and programs, file creation, manipulation, and sharing. *Four (4) year degree in Environmental Science, or Construction Management, or two (2) year A.S. degree in Environmental Science plus one (1) year relevant experience, or eight (8) years relevant experience
