Diesel / Heavy Equipment Mechanic | North & Central FL 1
Winter Park, FL Davey Tree Expert Co. is looking for experienced [3yr.min] diesel / heavy equipment mechanic. Experience with trouble shooting diagnostic codes and computer literacy required. This is an physically demanding, hands-on position. Our employee will be working in shop and some road service repairs will be required. Overtime will be required during hurricane season if needed. Some Saturdays will be required if needed. DUTIES: *You will be repairing chippers, tractors, tree cutters. stump grinders and all other forestry equipment. All training will be provided *You will be trained on aerial lift bucket trucks from diagnosing hydraulic leaks to yearly annual inspections. QUALIFICATIONS: *Must have or able to obtain CDL B or higher. *Must not have a fear of heights [aerial reaches up to 75'] *Must have complete set of tools, Davey will supply all specialty tools *Must be able to understand hydraulic schematics *Must be familiar with hydraulic testing tools. *Experience in rebuilding hydraulic components. *Any experience in addition to hydraulics, such as gas and diesel engines, DOT inspections and chassis experience is a PLUS!
