Developmental Specialist
Developmental Specialist **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***Fri, 29 Mar 2024 09:06:02 -0500 Qualifications: Successful candidates Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Special Education or another related field Must have or be eligible to obtain Ohio DODD Developmental Specialist Certification Must be highly self-motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work cooperatively with others Must have strong communication skills Must be organized, accurate and have the ability to remain professional and compassionate in stressful situations. Must possess computer skills Must be willing to undergo criminal background checks, work reference checks and drug screening. Preferred two years of experience with children with developmental disabilities Job Summary: Successful applicants will: Work one-on-one with young children with developmental disabilities and their families, both virtually and in-person Participate in the eligibility process for young children Provide services and supports to children under age three with developmental disabilities and their families in their natural environments Participate in the development of individual plans for children on caseload Communicate the availability of resources both within the agency and in the community Complete required documentation, maintain confidentiality Hours: Full-time 40 hour per week schedule requiring some flexibility, some ability to working from home Salary & Benefits: Pay: Commensurate with experience and relevant education.
