Senior Business Analyst - Capital Markets Change Team, Dublin

ROLE: BUSINESS ANALYST - CAPITAL MARKETS CHANGE TEAM

LOCATION: 10 Molesworth Street, Dublin with Hybrid Working (currently remote)

This role is being offered on a FIXED TERM CONTACT BASIS UNTIL 30TH DECEMBER 2022

Capital Markets serves AIB's largest business and private banking customers and has a select presence in international debt markets. It comprises c.6,000 customer connections who are supported by a high touch relationship model.

Our holistic product offering combined with deep sector expertise allows us to develop long-term relationships and facilitates strategic engagement with our customers. To provide geographic and sector diversification, Capital Markets selectively participates in European and US debts markets.

The Capital Markets business had gross loans and investment securities of €16.8bn at the end of June 2021 and is forecast to generate an operating contribution of €469m in 2021.

The pro-active engagement in the design and implementation of a new bank-wide streamlined end to end credit process and supporting lending and core accounting systems is a key change priority for us and will take up a lot of the time of our change team. 

For this reason, we require a business analyst to support our ongoing BAU change agenda. An opportunity exists within the Capital Markets Change team who are responsible for leading the design and delivery of change and transformation projects to support the Capital Markets strategy, working collaboratively across the organisation to enable delivery.  The Business Analyst will support the delivery of change projects and continuous improvement initiatives with clear deliverables, working closely with project managers, business teams, IT delivery team and business change managers to ensure that initiatives are designed, tested and delivered in line with business requirements.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:

*Work closely with business stakeholders to clearly define problem statements *Facilitate workshops to support process mapping, requirements gathering and analysis.  Document workshop outputs and manage actions to completion. *Manage stakeholder engagement with all parties throughout the delivery of change (Business, IT, Legal, Compliance, Risk etc.) *Ensure all required Bank policies and Regulatory requirements are satisfied by any changes implemented. *Liaise with IT teams to determine appropriate solutions to business problems. *Support the business through design and execution of testing where required. *Support the Business Readiness phase of the project by working with business stakeholder to deliver updates to business processes and procedures, prepare training material & scheduling training sessions where relevant *Where applicable, support the project manager to ensure that all project documentation is created and maintained to a high standard i.e. Business Requirements Documents, Process Maps, Business Cases, Risk Log/Benefits Log/Action Logs (smaller change projects may not have project managers assigned to them).
