Experience Designer - UX/UI, Dublin
Dublin, Baile Atha Cliath, Ireland ROLE: EXPERIENCE DESIGNER LOCATION: CURRENTLY REMOTE HOWEVER POST PANDEMIC, WE WILL HAVE A HYBRID APPROACH TO WORKING, WHICH WILL INCLUDE A BLEND OF ONSITE AND REMOTE WORKING (CENTRAL PARK, LEPOARDSTOWN, DUBLIN 18) This role is being offered on a Permanent basis. DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OUR DAY-TO-DAY CUSTOMERS BY MAKING THEIR ONLINE BANKING EASIER AND MORE ENJOYABLE? WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS: *Strong experience with research design, wire-framing and prototyping tools (e.g. Sketch, InVision, Illustrator, Dovetail etc.) *Ability to evaluate, create and document interface design patterns and standards *Clear experience designing and developing the user interface of web and native mobile applications. *Proven ability to create designs that delight, inspire and engage users *Can collaborate with other designers, user researchers, product managers, and developers on projects and across AIB. *Work in the design team to help develop the design language and create innovative, great-looking experiences on our websites and apps. *Demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative and within teams with experience of working to tight deadlines, attention to detail and completing tasks to a very high degree of accuracy. *Have strong written and verbal communication skills. YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW US THAT YOU HAVE: *2 years' experience in the field or digital User Experience or User Interface design *BA/BS in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, HCI, Product Design, Architecture, Industrial design or a related field *Link to an online portfolio and PDF of your resume *Website and mobile application design examples in portfolio *Knowledge to any of the following would be beneficial but not essential: JavaScript; CSS / SCCS; HTML 5.0, React, React Native and Swift *Candidates should have knowledge of and interest in product design, user-centric thinking, collaboration creation, user interface design and software product development practices (in particular Agile product development).
