ROLE:SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT, GROUP RESILIENCE

LOCATION: Heuston Station Quarter - Dublin 8

Our teams are currently working remotely and we expect this to continue for some time in light of the present circumstances.  Post pandemic, we will have a hybrid approach to working, which will include a blend of onsite and remote working

This role is being offered on a PERMANENT full time basis.

THE ROLE

The Supplier Relationship Management team supports the embedding, tracking and enhancement of the third party risk and relationship management across AIB group. The SRM, BCM and Exit Standards, which governs all supplier relationships, is based on supplier segmentation, and allows specific supplier treatment strategies to be applied to each of the segments.

The SRM role will require you to engage with business areas across AIB to help them understand and track their obligations under SRM, BCM and Exit Standards (at all stages throughout the Third Party Management (TPM) lifecycle), to improve their management of suppliers, to understand and reduce risk to acceptable levels, and ultimately to help drive value for AIB.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:

*Understand third party management, supplier relationship management, BCM and EXIT management and the role they play in AIB through Policy, Standards and Procedures in both the on boarding and ongoing management of third parties. *Understand the regulatory landscape with respect to Outsourcing and Third party management across all AIB jurisdictions (EBA, CBI, PRA, FED) *Analysing and investigating supplier relationship management activities and processes with the goal of improving efficiencies *Build and maintain strong working relationships with Business Areas, functional specialists and senior stakeholders, to fully understand and help shape business requirements. *Be the source of expert knowledge for relevant suppliers, for both existing engagements and potential capabilities in the broader supply market, including external networking /benchmarking. *Expected to pro-actively engage with the business and supply market, and be prepared to robustly challenge current thinking within the business. *Where appropriate, establish/co-ordinate cross functional teams to review/challenge current state, dispute resolution and deliver/implement innovative sourced solutions. *Excellent influencing skills, both internally and external with proven ability to chair governance meetings and achieve desired outcomes in large forums. *High level presentation and communication skills, articulate report writing for executive level review. *Foster sound risk governance, adhering to all our regulatory and compliance obligations. *Highly self-motivated and directed, with a strong client service orientation *Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
