Security Guard, High Profile Commercial Site - Afternoon/Evening Shift
Toronto, Ontario, Canada ARE YOU READY TO SUIT UP? We are looking for experienced security guards who would be interested working for our client in a fast-paced office tower located in Downtown Toronto. As a security officer in an office tower, you will primarily be responsible for access control, performing patrols and offering exceptional customer service. We are looking for experienced guards who enjoy working in a professional and interactive environment and can delivery high quality customer service. WHAT DOES A SECURITY GUARD IN TORONTO DO? *Providing uniformed, physical security to our client and its customers/visitors *Frequent interior and exterior patrols *Demonstrate understanding of client's systems and softwares *Conducting daily functions of the security unit including access control, security escorts, responding to calls for service, daily reports and note taking *Performing property inspections and enforce property laws, client rules, and other regulations *Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a regular basis *Providing customer service information and answering visitor questions *Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through enthusiastic teamwork WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? *Hourly Pay Rate $17.00/hr *AFTERNOON/EVENINGHOURS *SUNDAY - THURSDAY 3:00PM TO 11:00PM *A positive and interactive environment *Opportunity for advancement in the security industry *Ongoing training and development *Full uniform QUALIFICATIONS TO BECOME A SECURITY GUARD IN TORONTO *Excellent verbal and written communication skills - English is required *1-3 years of previous experience in the security industry *Valid Provincial Security Guard licence, First Aid & CPR *Strong computer literacy *Customer service oriented *Security clearance reliability *MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AFTERNOONS/NIGHTS *SUNDAY - THURSDAY 3:00PM TO 11:00PM *Leadership and proactive problem-solving skills *Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment |
