Analyst - Supply Chain Governance


The Kinross Corporate Head Office is located in downtown Toronto and supports Kinross' operations and projects worldwide. Corporate functions include Finance, Procurement, Health & Safety, Human Resources, IT, Investor Relations, Exploration, Geology and Mine Planning, among others.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Analyst, Supply Chain Governance will support the compliance and governance needs of the organization, with an emphasis on third party due diligence, reporting and support. The role will report to the Manager Compliance & Supply Chain Governance and be responsible for supporting the third party due diligence and governance activities and efforts, which include but are not limited to the following: 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*Support stakeholders on third party risk management including the use of the Kinross due diligence portal and all related systems.   *Support internal end users with third party due diligence process related requests, including entering third parties in Kinross' due diligence portal or related systems, daily administrative support, monitoring progress and following up with third parties as well as assisting with interpretation of third party information to support risk assessments.   *Monitor and report on due diligence related activities to ensure compliance with policies and Internal Audit requirements and report issues related to spend with non-compliant third parties.  *Support business users and stakeholders on understanding their responsibilities in the due diligence process.  *Support compliance with ongoing monitoring and management of third party alerts and act as support for Kinross' third parties on due diligence by addressing issues and ad-hoc questions. *Support the preparation of Governance related KPI's by participating in the preparation and analysis of reviews and related reports. *Act as subject matter expert with third party due diligence tools, databases and applications related to the due diligence platform or related systems and support the rollout of new tools, including change management & adoption.  *Fully understand organizational resources, priorities, processes and policies including an understanding of Sourcing and Contracting.  *Assist Compliance and Supply Chain Governance with executing and managing audit related activities, as well as preparing data and analysis as needed for reports related to due diligence and governance.  *Other projects, as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
*University/College degree (Supply Chain, Business, International Studies or related)  *Knowledge of supply chain and supplier risk management processes *Exercises good initiative, works with minimum supervision & able to work on multiple tasks *Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet *Strong communication skills (oral and written) *Able to review, analyze, and extract data from various sources *Good interpersonal skills with ability to work in team and cross-functional environments *Previous experience in a corporate environment is an asset *Ability to learn quickly with a high level of problem solving *Discretion in dealing with sensitive matters and confidential information
