Security Systems Administrator


JOB DESCRIPTION
The Security Systems Administrator is an important function in the Security Department, administering the security database system, which ensures all air and ground visitors to site are appropriately recorded and issued with a badge with the authorized levels of access to site. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•    The Security Systems Administrator is the responsible of all security admin tasks related (i.g. SRT superintendent‘s admin tasks, Gate pass,,, ex).
•    The Security Systems Administrator is the responsible of all finance tasks related (i.g. Wok order, PR, PO, Payment, accruals, cost control ,,,ex).
•    The Security Systems Administrator is responsible for validating all site access request forms (signed off by Heads of Department (HOD)) and issuing access badges ensuring all employee and visitor personal information and documentary evidence is secure and entered accurately into the security system.
•    The Security Systems Administrator is the responsible of all Badge K2 requests.
•    The administrator is responsible for tracking and monitoring access and information relating to employees and visitors to site and will liaise with the relevant departments as required.
•    The administrator will run regular reports and database checking processes to ensure that information is inputted correctly. In addition, daily visitor statistics and access reports are prepared as required by General Management and/or HODs.
•    The administrator is responsible for keeping all proprietary and confidential data entries in line with the company integrity policies and must exercise discretion and security in maintaining the value of information entered into the database.
•    The administrator will also be looking to continuously improve processes and systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•    Minimum of 5 years work experience, with at least 12 months in an access control/security environment.
•    Desirable completion of a recognized industrial security training course or a combination of training and experience equivalent.
•    Minimum degree (BAC 3)
•    Ability to use database software as well as the skill to learn and master proprietary information.
•    Skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook and Excel) to record and produce information.
•    Should be skilled in data management and entry, and knowledge in its troubleshooting and maintenance.
•    Demonstrate ability to be organized with a high level of attention to detail and good documentation skills.
•    Ability to communicate effectively in French and English language, both verbally and in written form. 
•    Demonstrated ability to communicate with a wide variety of site visitors (e.g. employees, contractors, government officials) in a professional manner, displaying tact and diplomacy when needed. 
•    Be open minded, pro-active, team orientated and have a high sense of the need for confidentiality.
