Director - Remote Telemetry

Provides leadership for and monitors operational goals, objectives and budgets for multiple similar departments. Responsibilities include planning of budget, monitoring of revenues, patient care indicators and manage operating costs. Communicates, organizes, prioritizes, leads, facilitates, coaches and problem solves with reporting staff to ensure that goals, objectives, and budgets are met. Works cooperatively with other service line leaders to carry out and monitor new health care services and performance improvement initiatives. Within area of responsibility, collaborates with senior management, directors, physicians, nursing, allied health staff, patients and vendors internal and external to the health care environment to work through processes and situations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 8 years of experience required. Master's degree required or plan in place with completion date approved by Vice President. If the area(s) of responsibility employ and have responsibility for supervising RNs, a MSN is required or plan in place with completion date approved by Vice President. and a nursing degree at the minimum of the BSN level is required for Magnet compliance. EXPERIENCE: 5 -7 years experience in management, preferably health care environment. LICENSE/ CERTIFICATION: Licensure and/or certification in medical or management related discipline. OTHER MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Leadership, planning and organizational skills to manage multiple departments and to direct the successful completion of initiatives and achievement of fiscal goals. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication abilities to support and promote a respectful, inclusive culture of service excellence. Proven skills in clinical, operational and human resource management, including staffing, planning, performance management, team work and process improvement.
