Ground/EMS Ambulance Operations Manager - Roanoke Transport Division (FT)

CCPT employs 180 ground EMS providers and maintains a fleet of 40 ambulances that are permitted and staffed for advanced life support. The Ground/EMS operations manager reports directly to the Ground/EMS program director and will work closely with our Communications Center and each of our Ground/EMS clinical team leaders to manage operations, personnel, develop performance improvement projects, ensure regulatory accreditation, and promote employee engagement. **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***The Ground/EMS Operations Manager will manage approximately 90 FTEs including FT and Flex/PRN EMS employees and 22 ambulances in the Roanoke Fleet. Patient Volume for the Roanoke base runs 16,000-18,000 runs per year and 30,000 annually for the entire company. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelors required. 8 years of equivalent EMS Leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree. Must be graduate of an approved school or EMS program. EXPERIENCE: 3 years supervisory or clinical team lead experience required. Recent clinical or leadership experience in HEMS, EMS, or medical transport preferred. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Registered Nurse licensure in Virginia or Certified as Paramedic in Virginia (and must be Nationally Registered Paramedic) REQUIRED. AHA BLS-HCP and EVOC REQUIRED. Other clinical certifications may be obtained after hire. OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: Demonstrates excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, team leadership, priority setting and work competency skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Access and Power Point. Ability to use electronic medical records. Promotes a respectful, inclusive culture of service excellence.
