DIRECTOR - COMPREHENSIVE BREAST CARE PROGRAM
Newport Beach, CA The Director of Breast Care and Research oversees patient care, operations, and strategic development of the breast care program. Services provided in the program include imaging (mammography, ultrasound, MRI, digital tomography, needle localization), surgery, patient education, care coordination, education and training of surgical Fellows, and clinical research programs. This role manages staffing and productivity, employee performance and development, budgeting, and policies and procedures to run programs optimally. The Director ensures patient care is delivered and the program is maintained in accordance with regulatory standards. Responsible for continual improvement of patient care and prevention of harm. Works with the Executive Medical Director to develop an annual operating budget and plan for future capital equipment needs. Works with Corporate Communications and medical directors to promote both local and national visibility. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: *5-10 years experience as a lead administrator of a high volume Breast Care Center required. *Master's degree required. *Experience in day-to-day operations, marketing, finance, regulatory activities, and quality assurance aspects of a Breast Care Center required. *Degree in health administration or related field preferred. *RN or RT preferred OR experience in breast care for at least 5 years. *Experience in Strategic Planning and Strategic Analytics is preferred. CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED/PREFERRED: *RN or RT preferred OR experience in breast care for at least 5 years required. |
