SUPERVISOR ACCOUNTING CASH/GL - ACCOUNTING
Costa Mesa, CA DESCRIPTION: Performs general accounting functions for the department. Knowledgeable of GAAP principles and OSHPD guidelines for financial preparation essential. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct. Ability to supervisor personnel as well as be a leader within the department when the manager is unavailable. EDUCATION, TRAINING, OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Four year degree in accounting required. Two year hospital accounting experience preferred but not mandatory. Experience with trend and financial analysis. SKILLS OR OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Working knowledge of mainframe general ledger systems and Software 2000. Microcomputer experience required (Excell,Word), 10 key by touch, good written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and ability to follow instructions. Cash management experience is required. |
