Corporate Food Technology Associate, Regulatory Compliance
Boca Raton, FL Company Name: Kroger Manufacturing Position Type: Employee FLSA Status: Exempt POSITION SUMMARY Manage complaint handling process and develop responses to customer inquires. Develop and maintain technical documentation. Perform regulatory activities related to product introduction and ongoing support. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire division in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and our Customer 1st strategy. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *Collaborate with Customer Service and capture/categorize product reasons for return and complaints; prepare reports/perform trend analysis *Analyze customer comments/complaints and coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues *Develop answers to frequently asked customer questions *Perform Root Cause Analysis and document/implement CAPA *Prepare product specifications; populate trade specs in PLM *Create and/or update work instructions/related procedures *Ensure supplier Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) are received prior to product delivery; review CoAs against specifications and file *Monitor changes to regulations as assigned; update relevant team members *Perform label reviews *Perform recall/withdrawal activities *Analyze/interpret dietary supplement regulations *Coordinate product testing and audits of applicable products and report results *Organize sensory cuttings and document/report results *Accountable to the Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles *Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements *Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS *2 years of experience in food science technology or related consumer product industry *Excellent oral/written communication skills *Strong critical thinking skills *Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and precision *Proven excellence in problem solving and cross-functional project planning/execution *Advanced Microsoft Office and business intelligence software skills *Knowledge of key regulations associated with product development and quality assurance DESIRED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION * Bachelor's Degree in in food science or related field *Any experience in regulatory affairs, food quality assurance *Proficiency with specifications and auditing database Education Level: Bachelor's Required Required Travel: Up to 25% Required Certifications/Licenses: None Position Type: Full-Time Regions: South States: Florida Keywords: Analyst Jobs at Kroger Logistics: To support and reward our hardworking and friendly associates, we offer much more than just a paycheck.
