Pallet/Crate Yard Worker starting at $18.98
Compton, CA Company Name: Kroger Logistics Position Type: Employee FLSA Status: Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY: The pallet yard worker is responsible to unload trailers when they return from our retail stores. Sorting, stacking or dumping returned items such as pallets, meat baskets, milk baskets, cardboard, compost. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Unload and clean trailers * Sorting, stacking material returned from stores * Loading sorted pallets and recyclables on to vendor trailers * Performing all duties in a safe manner * Safely operate baler machine * Feed compost into energy system * Feed returned milk cases onto sanitation line * Responsible for sanitation of work area including dock and door pits * Keep work area clean * Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
