Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician

Provide direct patient intervention by providing health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient as allowable by and consistent with state and federal laws. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *Support company Health and Wellness initiatives *Understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and the company's policies regarding HIPPA *Maintain a current national and/or state registration, certification, or license depending on state requirements *Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement *Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing *Provide day-to-day training support for pharmacy associates and encourage, monitor, and assist new techs through the technician training program *Ensure execution of department standards by leading by example *Serve as an alternative representative for store-wide meetings/huddles *Support work flow and pharmacist over-sight through shift leadership, delegating station rotation and best solutions to any issues that may arise *Act as pharmacy safety subject matter expert by being able to recognize areas of opportunity and coach to correctness as appropriate *Comply with and reinforce all sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management *Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud *Must be willing and able to adequately perform all essential job functions and tasks of a Pharmacy Certified Technician *Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS * High School Diploma or GED *1 year of Pharmacy Certified Technician experience within the Kroger enterprise *Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information *Excellent oral/written communication skills *Must be at least 18 years of age *Completion of national and/or state registration, certification or licensure depending upon state requirements *Proven attention to detail and stellar customer service skills *Self-motivated, able to organize, prioritize, plan and meet deadlines DESIRED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION *1 year of previous experience in a management or supervisory role Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Desired Required Certifications/Licenses: Pharmacy Technician Certification; Pharmacy Board License Position Type: Full-Time Shift(s): Day; Evening Regions: Midwest States: Kansas Keywords: Jobs at Dillons, Baker's, and Gerbes: At Dillons, Baker's, and Gerbes, we are always looking for friendly and reliable people for a variety of positions, including management opportunities for those with retail management experience.
