Financial Controller

Role Responsibilities:
Lead the daily operations of the Accounting department to ensure all financial reporting is accurate and timely
Preparation of accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements; including performance reports and financial/business forecasting
Management of the general ledger, accounts payable, billing and accounts receivable in accordance with GAAP
Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports utilizing the CRM.
Lead the annual budget process.
Performing and overseeing monthly bank reconciliations and other balance sheet account reconciliations to support our month-end close process.
Review and record all necessary intercompany transactions
Managing and performing semi-monthly payroll runs and related withholding and reporting requirements.
Deliver monthly variance analyses of financials and key performance metrics.
Administering various employee benefit programs including proper communication
Cash management, insurance program management, sales tax and state compliance and working with our service providers to prepare federal and state income tax returns.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of industry experience
Experience with a supervisory position in financial reporting/accounting areas preferred.
B.S. or B.A. in Accounting or Finance with CPA preferred
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office
Strong financial and data analysis
Experience with Quickbooks Desktop a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate and take direction in support of the company’s goals.
