POSITION TITLE: Sr. Manager, IT Operations - Enterprise Services

LOCATION: Columbus, OH

ORGANIZATION: Designer Brands Inc. (DBI)  IT

REPORTS TO: Sr. Director, IT

POSITION PURPOSE:

The SR. MANAGER, IT OPERATIONS - APPLICATIONS will passionately lead multiple technology spaces with IT Infrastructure team at Designer Brands (DBI).  The Sr. Manager will constantly look for improvements to technology, stability in applications and end user experience across all business units globally.  DBI currently operates offices and supports technology in the United States, Canada, China, Brazil and multiple outsourced locations around the world.  Primary responsibilities include all End User Computing devices, software and services, Windows Server infrastructure, software and services, Microsoft 365 Technologies (Exchange Online, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online), filesharing services including cloud file shares. 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Manage multiple teams to support enterprise technologies, including Microsoft, Apple, Citrix, Adobe, etc. *Meet with business units and stakeholders to determine technology needs, finding ways to drive improvements to stakeholders' experiences that may be addressed through existing, improved, and new technologies *Work closely with IT Operations, Security, Platform and Application teams to deploy solutions to business and technology challenges *Anticipate implementation obstacles and develop plans to address them *Provide input into the technology plan for the organization and ensure that plans are integrated effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure *Provide recommendations for investment in new products and technology solutions, supported by appropriate ROI, total cost of ownership, and/or cost benefit analysis *Deliver IT projects, interacting with Associates and consultants as needed to ensure successful project outcomes *Stay up to date on technologies related to areas of responsibility *Consistently apply a positive, problem-solving attitude and demonstrate a curious mindset *Provide mentorship and guidance to team members

REQUIRED SKILLS:

*Proven leadership and delivery of complex technologies *Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, as well as a methodical and disciplined approach to IT issue resolution and systems management *Ability to identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations within and across peer teams *Foundation in budget management and cost estimating *Ability to work in a global, virtual environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

*10 years of experience in IT, with 3 in a management position *Experience with End User Computing, Microsoft 365, Cloud Technology in a geographically dispersed environment

PREFERRED:

*Retail or similar experience is preferred

EDUCATION:

*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
