Supply Chain Flow Manager
Columbus, OH

GENERAL SUMMARY: Influence inbound and outbound inventory flow, buying behaviors, and shipping & receiving processes with regard to $3B worth of inventory, based on analytics and understanding of overall Supply Chain and Merchandising strategies. Provide analytical support to logistics, merchandising, and MP&A functions. Identify business risks and offer recommendations/solutions. Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure efficient and productive operations.

REPORTS TO: Sr. Manger Flow Planning

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Interpret large datasets related to inventory flow and the business behaviors of internal and external teams; summarize observations and share with cross functional partners *Project inbound and outbound unit flow by DC and product type to influence budget, transportation, labor planning, and resource needs *Develop and/or enhance critical Supply Chain reporting to provide single version of truth which will support decision making throughout Logistics, Planning, and Buying *Validate data integrity of Supply Chain metrics across business systems *Measure key supply chain metrics, such as trailer utilization and ship window accuracy, to refine forecasting methodology *Establish relationships and on-going partnerships with top Vendors *Implement Vendor processes to ensure timely exchange of data leading to OTB accuracy and reducing compliance issues *Maintain big picture mentality; weigh outcomes and impacts across functions to drive balanced decision-making supporting Customer, Brand, Speed initiative and cost management *Analyze business reporting and processes to identify and solve issues that could impede operations and/or decision-making within Logistics *Monitor and alleviate inventory and labor capacity constraints *Explore new and different ways to buy and move product supporting evolving business strategies

REQUIRED SKILLS:

*Ability to translate large volume of data into meaningful hypothesis with supporting risk, opportunity, and/or recommendations *Understanding of Merchandising, Transportation, and Warehouse operations *Ability to translate business objectives into attributes, metrics, and calculations used for report development *Strong attention to detail while maintaining big-picture mentality *Ability to self-manage and work with little direction or supervision from leadership *Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with senior level management *Ability to quickly determine data, process, and team connection points and dependencies *Experience user of Microsoft; preferred experience in SQL, MSI, WM, YMS, TMS

EXPERIENCE:

*Minimum 5 years' experience in MP&A or logistics related field. *Experienced user of Microsoft, Crystal, SQL, MSI, WM, YMS, and TMS; ability to code VBA

EDUCATION:

*Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience
