Sr. Application Systems Analyst, Distribution Systems (Open to Remote)
Columbus, OH

The SR. APPLICATION SYSTEMS ANALYST, DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS is responsible for the development and support of Distribution Systems applications. The senior analyst will deliver solutions in the Supply Chain IT area aligning to company driven initiatives. This position will regularly interact with IT and business resources. It will focus on activities to support all retail channels for the Distribution System's area of the business using packaged and custom solutions.

REPORTS TO: Director, Supply Chain Systems

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

*Performs analysis, design, development, and testing for implementation of packaged and custom solutions for new and existing supply chain systems   *Prepare functional and detailed technical specifications   *Ability to develop code and complete testing based on functional and technical specifications   *Identifies system impact of changes to the company, user, and operating systems   *Assist in performing packaged software installations, upgrades and patch deployment, testing, and implementation  

PARTNERS EFFECTIVELY WITH IT AND SUPPLY CHAIN ASSOCIATES

*Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners *Participates in design meetings with both IT and end user groups   *Participates in testing and result evaluation, which could include end-to-end testing  

PROVIDES PRODUCTION SUPPORT

*Participates in after hours on-call support rotation *Supports technology being leveraged by associates in our distribution facilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

*5 years' experience in supply chain distribution systems   *2 years' experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) *Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain technology tools and trends in a retail atmosphere *Excellent written and verbal communication skills   *Effective time management skills to meet deadlines   *Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment   *Be self-motivated and enjoy learning   *Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline *Previous retail experience preferred

*Strong SQL skills: Oracle Database, PL/SQL *Warehouse Management applications: Manhattan Associates WM, Korber (HighJump) WMS, Blue Yonder WMS, Oracle WM, Microsoft Dynamics *UNIX, UNIX shell scripting, Perl   *Visual Basic, Windows, batch scripting   *Job scheduling packages - D-Series, Control M *Automated unit testing desirable *MS Office - Outlook, Excel, Access, Word PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
