Assoc. Online Merchandiser

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Associate Digital Merchandiser will be responsible for the activation & attribution of products to the site, managing a subset of site-facing categories, and completing analysis for their areas of responsibility. The role will also serve as the point of contact between buying, site operations, and the photo studio team. The Associate Digital Merchant will report to the Manager of Digital Merchandising.

REPORTS TO:  Manager, Digital Merchandising

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Develop, own, and execute seasonal product attribution guidelines and changes to enhance the customer experience. *Activate and attribute new products to website and ensure product is available for purchase in applicable categories. *Create and drive seasonal site strategy for defined areas that supports the marketing and buying strategies as well as in season changes in order to optimize and/or react to business. *Communicate merchandise status updates using existing tools to all relevant cross functional partners. *Partner with Online Merchants to learn the foundational aspects of online merchandising, including merchandising of categories and digital analytics, etc. *Merchandise categories in partnership with Digital Merchandise Analyst by enhancing customer experience, place content, analyze category & product performance. *Identify marketing voids and request additional content. *Understand overall digital business and company-wide merchandise strategies *Analyze Adobe Analytics metrics to determine actionable items to optimize .com demand, including but not limited to product selling, navigational performance, email and site performance, onsite search, etc. *Collaborate with the Digital Merchandising Analyst to provide category-specific insights for the weekly recap. *Examine merchandising strategies of key competitors and best in class online retailers to understand emerging trends. *Ensure product accuracy by running daily exception reporting and analyzing opportunities *Lead testing of new site enhancements for BCC *Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions. *Conduct quarterly site audit to ensure product attribution accuracy and drive best in class customer experience *Identify and troubleshoot issues prohibiting customer transactions. *Partner with the CRM team to provide CTAs for marketing and validation of emails/site assets. *Support company initiatives by taking the business lead on stretch assignments related to the growth of the digital business.

EXPERIENCE:

*years of eCommerce merchandising experience *Experience with the ATG platform, Experience Manager, or equivalent ecommerce platforms *Proficient in MS Office suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*Proficient in Omniture and BrightEdge *Proficient in XM

EDUCATION:

*4 year degree required
