Decision Science Analyst

Designer Brands, Inc., Columbus, OH, needs a Decision Science Analyst to perform data mining techniques to obtain, organize and validate large amounts of data for use in analysis projects from multiple key sources. Conduct statistical analysis to support and drive business decisions. Leverage automation tools to create efficiencies and scalable and repeatable data processing Solve highly technical and complex business problems using predictive modeling, simulation, optimization and/or drive efforts to bring resolution. Extract key insights and summarize outcome of complex analysis and mathematical models. Will use R, Python, Teradata SQL, Big Query, and MicroStrategy. Requires a master's degree in industrial and systems engineering, operations research, or business analytics and 1 year of experience in the skill sets listed in the job description.
