Summer 2022 Internship Program - Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (Open to Remote)
Columbus, OH SUMMER 2021 - DBI CORPORATE FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS (FP&A) INTERN Finance is the team behind the numbers. We are at the heart of the business and help to drive real-time decisions every day. The finance team does everything from analyzing the business and running reports to balancing the check book and ensuring our associates get paid. The Corporate FP&A team has one Finance internship opportunity available for Summer 2022. Finance interns will take part in a 12-week internship and this intern will be part of the Designer Brands Corporate FP&A team. The team is responsible for consolidating financials across all our financial segments and reporting up to management, the board and the street. This includes budgets, projections, quarterly earnings calls and any financial ad hoc analysis needed across DBI. We work closely with segment finance teams and business partners. In addition, the team supports Information Technology and our Supply Chain teams and assists with their budgets, projections, financial analysis, etc. The Corp FP&A Intern will get to learn the innerworkings of a corporate finance team, assist in the daily work and/or projects during their time here and will also get a chance to interact with several business partners during their 12 weeks. QUALIFICATIONS: *Minimum 3.2 GPA *Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics major *Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) *Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing business needs *Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills *Excellent written and verbal communication skills *High degree of initiative, personal responsibility and ownership. *Internships will begin summer 2022 (Mid to late May) and last for 12 weeks. *All interns are full-time, paid positions *All interns must be able to pay for their own housing and transportation while in Columbus *Only the candidates who meet the internship requirements will be contacted for interviews *All interns will be required to complete a project at the end of the internship program |
