Director, Talent Acquisition (Open to Remote)

The DIRECTOR, TALENT ACQUISITION will plan, lead, and implement strategic recruitment for our global enterprise! Manages a team of talented recruiting professionals responsible for full lifecycle recruiting. Partners with senior leadership and operations to identify current and future workforce needs, understanding the upcoming talent gaps and talent needs in order to build and develop an effective talent acquisition roadmap that will drive DBI's strategic goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Design and implement highly effective, results-driven recruiting strategies and lead activities for the acquisition of talent. *Develop and execute strategic approaches to attracting and engaging top industry talent. *Create new, innovative sourcing strategies to develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates taking into consideration labor market trends. *Partner directly with senior leadership by serving as an advisor for key leadership hires and talent needs within the business. *Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the hiring process, including training for hiring managers, interview process consistency and candidate experience, leading to measurable improvement in the availability and selection of diverse candidates. *Develop and manage diverse, qualified slates to increase the diversity of the company's talent. *Lead continuous improvement of talent acquisition programs and processes in collaboration with recruiting team. *Partner with leaders and teams on succession planning, talent reviews, and assessments to understand talent gaps and future talent need and strategize accordingly. *Monitor the competitive landscape; design and develop creative ideas to strengthen our competitive position as the employer of choice for top talent. *Lead the management of recruiting reports, dashboards, and metrics. Evaluate metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting team, hiring managers, interviewers, and referrers. *Establish process for a robust talent pipeline that focuses on passive candidates and builds a strong network of future talent. *Ensure TA Team is appropriately resourced and trained to achieve hiring targets, while meeting or exceeding performance indicators. *Manage external agency relationships to maximize their productivity and effectiveness *Manage and develop the growth and capabilities of the talent acquisition team. *Research and test new recruiting tools and technology. *Manage a req load of executive and critical roles across the business.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

*Well-rounded knowledge in all areas of talent acquisition, including employer branding, sourcing, recruiting (including at the executive level), candidate assessment, onboarding, and cultural engagement. *Proven ability to recruit at all levels, including executive level leadership. *Knowledge and thought leadership in high volume recruiting, bringing new ideas that can scale. *Proven experience and passion for developing and imbedding diversity and inclusion into recruiting strategies and practices. *Demonstrated success in partnering with senior business leaders to understand their talent needs, leveraging this information proactively to find excellent potential talent. *Proven ability to use HRIS systems, assessment tools, metrics, and data to power a sophisticated recruiting function. *Thinks strategically and with a long-term orientation. Translates ideas into actionable, practical strategies that bring an overall vision to life. *Thrives in an ever evolving and fast-paced environment. *Strong executive presence and communication skills *Collaborative, builds relationships, and works through influence rather than direct authority. *Business acumen and a deep understanding of the organization's operations. *Goes beyond the status quo, always seeking ways to improve their function and company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

*10-15 years of progressive experience in a talent acquisition and/or sourcing roles, including development and implementation of targeted sourcing strategies, leadership and development of teams, and senior/executive recruiting experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*Retail experience is a plus

EDUCATION:

*Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, or related field.
