GENERAL SUMMARY
The Sr. Celebrity GTM Manager role will support and enhance key processes and relationships as it relates to brand strategy, product milestones, calendar adherence and the implementation of brand plans. The role will focus on achieving brand business objectives in the short and long term and will be the lead communicator of all go-to-market process between departments. This individual will need to have a strong retail background to be successful. This leader will also be responsible for ensuring the celebrities needs are positioned to connect with consumer's to drive sales.

 
REPORTS TO:Vice President/brand management (Jennifer Lopez)
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Collaborate with cross functional partners (category marketers, merchandising, sourcing, design, planning, etc.) to align on celebrity long range planning positioning. Focus on brand building and revenue generation. Deliver strategies that are complementary to shared business plans. *This position requires partnership with senior leaders across multiple functions with a high-level autonomy. *Plan, drive, and track delivery of projects and initiatives supporting DBI's Celebrities pillar with a focus on delivering business value
*Project management: scope, project plan, budget, risk/issue logs, status reports, etc.
*Oversee project execution, track status and KPI's, resolve and/or escalate issues
*Identify, analyze and manage stakeholders throughout the go-to-market processes and facilitate tools to the needed departments and/or individuals. *Leads seasonal architecture planning to support brand's strategic objectives in partnership with design, planning, merchandising
*Coordinate and connect the dots across multiple initiatives, stakeholders, and business areas
*Communicate across all stakeholders and leaders to gain alignment and understanding, to drive progress and decisions, and to ensure active engagement throughout the transformation
*Identify and proactively drive resolution to roadblocks, risks, and issues related to people, process, and technology across all projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
*Experience managing and working collaboratively across brands and functions *Prior work experience in global fashion or sportswear brands *Experience in driving and delivering projects and strategic brand programs *Experience in providing clear actionable strategic insights with the business *Experience developing a global product strategy that is consistent with the brand values and design aesthetic *Knowledge of product development calendar timelines / deliverables
*Must be able to manage project risks & issues and drive response planning, execution, escalation
*Must be able to keep stakeholders informed, aligned, engaged
*Must be able to lead & motivate project team, manage conflict, ensure success
*Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data and to drive fact-based decisions
*Ability to effectively solve problems, escalate and drive accountability
*Ability to identify and manage dependencies within & across projects
*Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects / assignments simultaneously
*Expert-level communicator & presenter, able to "tell the story" at all levels of the organization *Unwavering personal accountability for the success of projects

 

EXPERIENCE:
• 8 years buying/merchandising/strategy experience in Apparel/Footwear/Accessories industries

• 3 years of project coordination, management, leadership experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Management of individual contributors and/or teams preferred
• Retail industry experience
• Brand/Product marketing
 
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred
