COPYWRITER JOB DESCRIPTION

The Copywriter plays a key role in brand storytelling through compelling product, email and site copy to drive brand interest, conversion and sales. With a digital-first approach, the copywriter partners with Ecommerce, Merchandising, Site and Creative teams to deliver a wide range of tactical copy assets.

*ACTION-DRIVING PRODUCT COPY, creating persuasive descriptions that resonate with our brand and spotlight our products' unique features and benefits. This role owns technical product copy, working quickly and efficiently in Excel, managing communications with buyers and vendors, and creating product copy highlighting key functional and style details to drive sales.

*PROMOTIONAL EMAIL, VC VIP rewards' content and micro content.

*A VARIETY OF EDITORIAL, WEBSITE AND BRAND IDENTITY CONTENT, as needed.

*PROOFREADING, across all departmental copy.

*WHOLESALE AND RETAIL PARTNER COPY including email, campaign credit documents, lookbooks, Training Guides, stockroom posters, packaging, hangtags, Amazon A content and dropship product copy.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate has a digitally-rooted background, strong understanding of contemporary fashion brand voice and effortlessly translates style trends into effective marketing materials.

*A fresh brand voice, able to bring personality to marketing copy *Understands persuasive copy structure and has an informed POV on word styling *Expert command of English grammar, usage and punctuation *Familiar with fashion, textile and design terms *Organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with high-volume deliverables

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

*Bachelor's degree *3 years digital copywriting and proofreading experience *Background in luxury fashion, retail, editorial, marketing or advertising copywriting preferred.
