Summer 2022 Wholesale Sales Intern (Camuto Group)
New York City, NY Camuto Group has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Intern. This is a paid internship in our NYC office and in a hybrid working environment with our sales team. We are looking for a student who can contribute approximately 35 hours a week. Camuto Group offers bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training. In addition to gaining hands-on experience in their department, Interns will attend various cross-functional presentations as well as learning sessions with Senior Leadership. RESPONSIBILITIES: *SALES TEAM ADMINISTRATION/SUPPORT *Assist with preparing/maintaining line sheets and selling tools *Learn how to write copy for all styles each season *Upload high res images to account portals *Help to complete dropship template setups *Participate in preparing national selling data by retailer / total all accounts that is reviewed with design and production to evaluate product performance *ECOMMERCE PHOTO PROCESS *Act as liaison to Ecommerce Photography team and assist in updating google docs weekly *Help to ensure ecommerce photos are done in a timely manner. *Check images for accuracy and provide ecommerce photos to accounts as needed *MARKET/SHOWROOM PREPARATION *Maintain NY showroom displays and organization of showroom office/closet *Assist in preparing showroom for approval meetings and market *Attend product/ market line review process if they occur during program *TRADESHOWS/SEMINARS: *Assist Account Executive's at local shoe shows/seminars including setup/breakdown and assisting customers *Coordinate sample needs and paperwork QUALIFICATIONS: *Strong customer relationships *Must be a team player, exhibiting strong communication skills and flexibility *Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills, attention to detail and accuracy *Professional demeanor and customer service oriented *Powerpoint, data manipulation/pivot tables, Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel *Pursuing a Bachelor's degree DETAILS *TIMING: Full-time, beginning June1st - July 22nd (approx. 8 weeks in duration) *WHO SHOULD APPLY:College juniors, seniors and recent graduates *DEADLINE:Your application must be received by January 10th *COMPENSATION: All interns are full-time, paid positions *All interns must be able to pay for their own housing and transportation while in New York City *Only the candidates who meet the internship requirements will be contacted for interviews *All interns will be required to complete a project at the end of the internship program |
