Summer 2022 Internship Program - HR Rotational intern (Open to Remote)
Columbus, OH *Please note that only viable candidates will be contacted to continue in the process. Designer Brands has one (1) HR Rotational internship opportunity available for Summer 2022. HR helps to ensure associates are having a positive experience at Designer Brands. We do this through modeling the company values, onboarding, training & development, benefits, payroll, compensation, recruiting and associate retention. The HR intern will rotate through various departments within HR to gain a great understanding of these functions and how they support Designer Brands. These areas will include Associate Engagement, Associate Relations (Field & Home Office) and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. * This internship will begin Summer 2022 (Mid to late May) and last for 12 weeks. All interns are full-time, paid positions based in Columbus, OH (hybrid - onsite & remote) * All interns must be able to pay for their own housing and transportation while in Columbus, OH * Only the candidates who meet the internship requirements will be contacted for interviews * All interns will be required to complete a project at the end of the internship program * This opportunity is only open to Sophomore, Junior, and Senior candidates at this time, local candidates preferred Relocation and housing expenses will not be covered by Designer Brands QUALIFICATIONS: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, management and/or HR * Passion for the Retail Industry * Confident communicator * Strong organizational and analytical abilities * High results-orientation with great attention to detail Innovative thinker * Change agile * Possesses an inclusive, collaborative and global mindset |
