GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Director of Acquisition is an innovative and data-driven marketer that helps develop and lead the acquisition strategy for VinceCamuto.com. The ideal candidate will have a history of success building customer demand for emerging retail brands. This role will be responsible for developing growth strategies, ideating new campaigns, and optimizing channels against performance goals. They will lead key channels on our growing digital team and help us transform the way our customers buy shoes.

REPORTS TO: VP of DTC

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the strategy, launch, campaign management, and analysis of key performance channels including: Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates and Display
• Develop campaign plans to support product launches, promos, and evergreen timeframes to meet traffic and revenue goals
• Develop strategies rooted in historical learnings and current trends to meet key business goals
• Collaborate with key internal partners from eCommerce, marketing, merchandising and operations to help drive measurable business outcomes
• Manage monthly budget targets through bottoms up forecasting while executing against ecommerce plan
• Generate new ideas, new initiatives, and new processes (including creative best practices) to positively impact the business
• Improve new customer, traffic, and revenue metrics to achieve brand growth goals
• Develop new creative briefs to ensure timely, brand right, and effective creation of assets and copy
• Enhance the reporting and testing/learning strategy for the performance marketing program
• Provide performance goals, measurement, and actionable insights around digital channel performance
• Prepare and present analyses, clearly communicating key takeaways and opportunities for improvement
• Keep an eye on the market for emerging channels, trends and new testing opportunities in the digital space
• Lead a team of leaders and individual contributors

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Deep channel expertise and insights to help drive channel mix strategy and achieve revenue, traffic and ROAS goals
• Ability to develop strategic marketing plans to support key digital initiatives
• Develop and execute A/B testing roadmap across key channels
• Ability to analyze data, interpret and summarize findings into actionable conclusions and present to executive-level stakeholders
• Must have experience managing large budgets and ability to analyze, optimize and pivot costs to meet KPIs
• Must be a team player, exhibiting strong communication skills, positivity and flexibility
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven record of building and leading high-performance marketing teams
• Deep understanding of a rapid test and learn strategic approach
• Ability to leverage data sets to create sophisticated advertising programs
• Variety of experience and depth across digital marketing channels including Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates and Display
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate and build strong partnerships
• Highly Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Omniture, etc.

EXPERIENCE:
• 10 years of relevant experience in an acquisition / performance marketing role

 
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or related discipline
