Store Operations Specialist

GENERAL SUMMARY
Analyze, define, and implement store operational processes to ensure store and customer needs are supported. Troubleshoot issues that impede stores ability to operate efficiently. Support identification and sharing of best practices and process improvements across chain. Develop and maintain policy and procedure documentation. Organize workload and process sequencing to maximize efficiency in the field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partners with appropriate functional areas to develop processes that enable stores to efficiently complete workload/tasks while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Participates in various home office and field driven project teams to understand operational requirements and then defines store operation processes, requirements, implementation plans and
communication to support desired outcome.
• Partners with stores field personnel (DMs, SMs) to analyze, define and test operational improvements or changes to be implemented in the store environment.
• Defines processes, documents and maintains Policy and Procedure manuals.
• Assists IT teams and Store Operations team with planning, testing and implementation of functionality enhancements or other changes to stores technical operating environment. May work with vendor representatives to coordinate store site visits.
• Leverages existing time-study data to make decisions on workload and process improvements.
• Completes future time-studies relevant to the business.
• Partners with Training to develop communications and educational tools as necessary to support change initiatives.
• Troubleshoots and responds to daily issues impacting stores in a timely manner.
• Draft and route written directives through the communication approval process.

• Service oriented and willing to provide issue resolution to store associates
• Analytical approach to reviewing business metrics and managing exception reporting
• Accurately identifies problems, issues and opportunities, collects data to draw conclusions and chooses a course of action based on facts.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and show ownership of projects and processes from start to finish
• Enjoys working as part of a team and collaborating together to achieve results

EXPERIENCE:
• 4-5 years of experience in a retail management role or working in a corporate Store Operations role.

EDUCATION:
• Bachelors in Business Management or equivalent retail experience
