Summer 2022 Internship Program - IT Digital UI Development

ONLY VIABLE CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED TO CONTINUE IN THE PROCESS.* IT Digital UI team manages the website for DSW, DSW Canada, Vince Camuto and The Shoe Company (Canada). The team is responsible for ensuring an engaging customer experience as well as developing new content to further that customer experience. Our IT Digital UI Development team has an internship opportunity available for Summer 2022. At the end of the program, the interns will have a better understanding of the IT function within Designer Brands. *Internships will begin Summer 2022 (Mid to late May) and last for 12 weeks. *All interns are full-time, paid positions based in Columbus, OH (hybrid - onsite & remote) *All interns must be able to pay for their own housing and transportation while in Columbus *Only the candidates who meet the internship requirements will be contacted for interviews *All interns will be required to complete a project at the end of the internship program *This opportunity is only open to JUNIOR, and SENIOR candidates at this time, local candidates preferred *Relocation and housing expenses will not be covered by Designer Brands QUALIFICATIONS: *Working knowledge of front-end web technologies - Angular, HTML5, CSS, Progressive Web Apps *Past experience (even if school project) designing web application *Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills *Strong attention to detail *Collaborate with team members on new projects and ideas *Possess ability to communicate clearly with UI team *Report status against the project plan *Other duties as assigned |
