Outbound Transportation Coordinator

The Transportation Outbound Coordinator is responsible for providing support to our delivery agent network to ensure timely delivery to our stores. This requires daily communication and interaction with our stores and sometimes carriers. The main support is through email and phone communication, also utilizing an online program, PCSTrac, which also gives stores visibility to know what to expect. The main goal is to create a predictable view of what stores can expect and when processes are not followed and/or plans change, helping keep stores and delivery agents informed of the situation and ways to overcome the hurdles.

REPORTS TO: Transportation Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Ensure all US and Canada Store deliveries are meeting SLAs (Service Level Agreements) * Communicate via email and/or phone with each of the delivery agents daily to ensure inbound arrivals and unloading schedule for PCS track to be updated *When volume unexpectedly fluctuates, cancelling and adding deliveries with stores, communicating via email and/or phone * Communication with stores/delivery agents if visibility to deliveries isn't in the system *Following up with stores/delivery agents on ApNet (online Asset Protection tool) concerns/issues; these are typically follow-ups including, but not limited to delivery and/or driver issues * Working with Store Ops on store holds/max cartons *  New/Closed Store Coordination - scheduling merch and fixture trucks for successful set up of new stores and scheduling merch and fixture returns for any closed stores - typically 1-2 per month (not a daily responsibility) *  Responsible for all other communication/coordination with the US Store Operations, Canada Store Operations and Delivery Agent teams to fix issues and provide updates on scheduled deliveries. *  All other duties assigned by manager

EXPERIENCE:

*2 Years minimum experience in a logistic or distribution center environment

EDUCATION:

*High school diploma or GED equivalent required
