GENERAL SUMMARY
The DSW Brand Executive is responsible for developing DSW exclusive brands strategy, promoting brand growth and portfolio expansion, creating and implementing brand plans, and using a variety of data to drive sales, profitability and influence design. The role will focus on achieving brand business objectives in the short / long term and will collaborate with a wide array of business functions, including merchandising, marketing, e-commerce, stores, sourcing, etc. The Exclusive Brands Leader is responsible for the development and execution of each brand utilizing market trends and customer insights to build strategies and processes for new product development. The position is responsible for appropriate style, design and value of products consistent with each brand's ethos. It is accountable for Exclusive Brand sales and profitability. This leader demonstrates a strong team mentality with influencing skills and tremendous partnership with all segments. Build and develop an organization to scale for long term growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead creation and implementation of business strategies; concept and drive brand DNA for brand's appropriate customer segments through product design, assortment, and marketing
• Develop and communicate strategic initiatives for brands' growth utilizing relevant trends, market development, and brand portfolio expansion including acquisitions or partnerships;
• Creates long term vision and develops product consistent with the Merchandising Strategy in each unique segment
• Influences production and supply chain partners to produce product at the highest quality for the best value
• Leverage market insights (market intelligence, competitive overview, wholesale performance, retail feedback and marketing needs) to steer brand direction and evolution
• Accountable for delivering assortment architecture by brand which supports the distinctiveness of each segment
• Accountable for final design, assortment and line plan of each brand
• Develop and achieve business goals, partnering with the various functional teams to devise creative and strategic solutions to drive growth
• Drives brand loyalty through the customer experience; including marketing, digital and store experience
• Oversees marketing activities to ensure brands are marketed at the right time to the right customer

EXPERIENCE:
• 12 years Merchandising experience in senior level role
• 5 years experience in product development or brand management
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's Degree in Retail or Fashion Merchandising, Marketing or Business
