Route Service Sales Representative (4-Day Workweek)
Pleasant Hill, IA REQUISITION NUMBER: 112124 JOB DESCRIPTION Cintas is seeking a Route Service Sales Representative (4-Day Workweek). Responsibilities include providing service to a set customer base through the pickup and delivery of specialized products to controlled business environments, such as the semi-conductor, pharmaceutical and food processing industries; driving a company-owned CDL truck to and from numerous customer stops throughout the day, as well as lifting, carrying and walking clean products into and soiled products out of customer accounts; customer satisfaction by responding to customer inquiries and requests, as well as pro-active problem solving; growing the existing route through sales of additional items from our product line and catalog to current customers. Specific routes and customers are assigned in order to build rapport between the RSSR and the customers serviced. Geographical route coverage is extensive and often includes customers in numerous states. As a result, overnight travel is usually required, typically one-two nights per week. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Required *Minimum of 1 year outside sales experience or successful completion of a Cintas sales training program *Have an active driver's license *High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred Preferred: *New business-to-business (B2B) sales experience *Hunter sales mentality - goal driven and self-motivated *Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), intranet/internet and Contact Management System Cintas offers comprehensive and competitive medical, dental and vision benefits, featuring employee health care premiums that are 30% lower than the national average for our industry.
