JOB DESCRIPTION
Cintas is seeking a Demand Analyst to review in detail all inputs into demand including on-hand inventory, safety stock, WIP, promotions, new material roll-outs, etc. and create a demand plan that takes into account the budget, as well as inventory targets. The role integrates demand, supply and financial information into one unified demand plan for the business, which is then passed to the Demand Planners for input into the SAP APO system. Production schedules are generated based on that plan, which should link the Global Supply Chain strategic plan with Operations' strategic plan by working with Merchandising, Marketing, Sales and Operations for the different business divisions within Cintas. Responsibilities include analyzing each materials' monthly forecast statistical model; finalizing the consensus forecasts by material/color, production group and distribution center as appropriate, while ensuring proportional factors are allocated accordingly; reviewing historical sales trends and demand drivers; preparing forecast data; developing statistical forecast models; evaluating forecast results; presenting, soliciting and assessing feedback on the various forecasts from sales and finance; recommending adjust for operational forecasts; reviewing promotional plans with Sales; making suggestions for capacity adjustments; assisting in annual budget process and presentation to leadership; informing and understanding the risk associated with the forecasts and the inventory investments being made, such as adding new items, adding SKUs and increasing sales forecasts; working to maintain inventory targets; building relationships and trust with all cross-functional areas; communicating and educating on forecasting concerns, observations and soliciting feedback accordingly; driving the value and importance of Demand Planning throughout the organization; influencing/persuading others to action; holding monthly demand meetings with the different business divisions; holding monthly capacity reviews internally with supply chain leadership team; managing weekly, monthly, quarterly demand and capacity reviews within the departments; proactively identifying, resolving and communicating issues surrounding the forecasts; ensuring management is informed and involved in issue resolution; working collaboratively with the entire Planning team.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Required

*BA/BS Degree in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Product Supply Operations Management, Mathematics or Statistics; MBA preferred *Ability to make sense of information that may be complex, ambiguous and/or contradictory in order to effectively solve problems and keep the organization aligned with the GSC vision and strategy *Ability to identify data sources that will assist in solving problems *Ability to understand that different situations may require different approaches *Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP *Ability to thoroughly execute all planning functions, including investigations, problem solving and communication

Preferred

*5 years' experience in Demand Planning *APICS or other forecasting certification
