Heading 2: Responsibilities As a Tax Experienced Associate, you will be a valued business advisor delivering industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services to middle market clients. You will be responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations ranging from middle market to multinational companies. You will also participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries. Furthermore, you will develop recommendations for the client to consider and share with leadership to discuss and strategize. Heading 2: Qualifications To be considered for the Tax Experienced Associate position at Baker Tilly, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or law, or a related degree in business, and sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state you are being considered. You must also have a GPA of 3.0 or above and relevant internship work experience is highly desired. Furthermore, you must demonstrate skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
