Mailroom Clerk - File Clerk

As a Mailroom Clerk, you will be responsible for the handling of the firm’s incoming and outgoing mail/packages, maintaining client satisfaction and expectations. This position requires a strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments
• Sort inbound mail and save accordingly, send outgoing mail, track packages if necessary
• Correspondence received (including electronic correspondence) that includes, but not limited to, those that have a hearing date, answer, and/or deadline for response and/or action needed from the firm are a priority to ensure they are sent to the attorney timely.
• Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (Fed-Ex, UPS, etc.)
• Work in firm’s case management system and client websites
• Communicate with clients, courts, third party vendors, etc.
• Receiving and stocking of office supplies
• Copying, shipping, filing, sending, and receiving documents
• Comply with all client specific requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience is appreciated but not needed
• Basic experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Works well in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Professional communication skills
• Detail orientated
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task

Requirements:

• Attention to detail, and ability to comply with company and departments procedures
• Exhibit active listening skills
• Ability to work in cooperative and positive manner with coworkers
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Dependable Transportation
