Construction Litigation Associate (3-5 years)

Law Firm is seeking an experienced Associate to join the Construction Law & Litigation Practice in their Reno office. The practice group is ranked Tier 1 in the “Best Law Firms” report published by U.S. News–Best Lawyers and Band 1 in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.

The practice handles:

- Dispute resolution (arbitration, mediation, litigation, pre-litigation counseling on troubled projects)
- Project planning and advice (selection of project delivery method, bidding strategy and process)
- Contracts and contracting (plan, structure, draft, negotiate construction contract documents)
- Project execution (compliance, permitting, insurance, bonding, performance, payment)

The candidate should have three to five years of experience with construction transactions and disputes involving large commercial buildings, mixed-use, retail, industrial and government projects. The candidate must have strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school and admission to the State Bar of Nevada or a willingness to sit for the next exam is required. Must have excellent references and communication, analytical, technical and writing skills.
