Accountant/Tax Specialist
Allentown, PA # Accountant/Tax Specialist ## Job Description The law firm of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** in Allentown, PA is seeking a full-time CPA/Tax Specialist to join their team. ## Responsibilities * Research issues related to tax compliance and controversy * Communicate with and submit requests to IRS * Compile responses to IDRs (Information Document Requests) and other requests for information related to federal and state tax examinations (audits) * Prepare and proofread pleadings and correspondence, organize discovery * Communicate with clients, courts, and attorneys and perform administrative tasks as needed, including monthly billing/time entries * Docket and calendar cases ## Qualifications * 5–7 years’ experience in preparing individual and fiduciary income, gift and estate tax returns, Pennsylvania inheritance tax returns, and related workpapers, projections, and estimates * Proficiency in Prosystem, CCH IntelliConnect, BNA, and RIA Quickfinders * Masters in Taxation (MT) optional but preferred ## Salary Salary commensurate with experience. ## Non-Discrimination Policy The Firm does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, civil union status, domestic partnership status, affectional or sexual orientation, genetic information, pregnancy or breastfeeding, sex, gender identity or expression, disability or atypical hereditary cellular or blood trait of any individual, or because of the liability for service in the Armed Forces of the United States or the nationality of any individual or any other characteristic protected by law, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment.
