Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate's responsibilities will include speaking to clients, addressing issues as to medical treatment and temporary disability. Also, preparing cases for court, limited drafting pleadings, discovery demands and responses, and other legal documents. A paralegal certificate or associate degree is required. Should have 3-5 years of experience. Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and be self-directed and detailed-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must have practical knowledge of litigation in Personal Injury, for example, workers compensation, medical malpractice, nursing home, etc. Should be well organized and able to see an assignment through to its end when given proper direction. Experience in Workers’ Compensation matters is preffered. knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. The ability to read, write and speak in Spanish is a plus.
