Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic state and local tax consulting services to middle market and Fortune 500 clients, including managing multi-disciplinary reviews, researching state tax issues, counseling clients on tax controversies, and executing tax projects.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them lower their tax rates, ensure compliance, and maximize value in state and local taxes.
- Assist with managing client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensuring profitability targets are met.
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build relationships within the firm and with clients and the community.
- Invest in professional development and support the growth and development of team members.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; Masters or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA, CMI or JD/LLM required.
- Eight (8) years of experience in state and local tax, professional services firm experience preferred.
- Five (5) years of supervisory experience desired.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S., without sponsorship, highly preferred.
