About the job The Senior Legal Specialist position within the Advanced Delivery department at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is a hybrid role, offering a combination of office and remote working. This role is responsible for providing specialist and significant general legal knowledge, drafting and negotiating contracts, leading projects and teams, and training junior team members. The role also involves building relationships with internal and external clients and continuously developing personal expertise and the profile of the Advanced Delivery team through secondments. Job responsibilities - Providing specialist and significant general legal knowledge - Issue spotting and report writing/drafting - Drafting and negotiating contracts with a medium to advanced level of complexity - Leading projects and teams - Quality controlling the work of more junior team members - Training junior team members - Carrying out business development and presenting directly to internal/external clients - Owning relationships with internal/external clients - Continuously building personal expertise and the profile of the Advanced Delivery team through secondments Key requirements - Equivalent experience from an ALSP (but not legally qualified) - Relevant experience in a professional environment - Experience in specific finance/corporate law areas is a bonus - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Flexible and proactive - Consistently demonstrate a professional manner with evidence of exceptional levels of judgment, commercial awareness, and critical thinking - Strong focus on detail and high levels of self-motivation - Proven ability to take ownership of own work - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines - Strong relationship-building skills – a team player with the ability to establish credibility and inspire confidence with clients and senior colleagues - Must show evidence of a high level of personal resilience coupled with an ambition to continuously challenge oneself - Demonstrate a high level of affinity with legal technology Salary information The salary for the Senior Legal Specialist role at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is competitive and dependent on experience.
