Job Title: Sr. Corporate Counsel
Location: Houston, TX (with additional locations in Dallas, TX and Tulsa, OK)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Position Summary:
Targa Resources is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Corporate Counsel to join their Legal Team in Houston, Texas. This individual will work closely with various departments across the company, with a focus on providing legal advice and support for all commercial aspects of Targa’s logistics and transportation/NGL business. This includes negotiating and drafting contracts for the purchase, sale, exchange, transportation, storage, terminalling, fractionation, export, and distribution of natural gas liquids, as well as managing other projects within the Legal Team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft agreements for the purchase, sale, and exchange of natural gas liquids and other petroleum products
- Provide legal advice and support for various midstream agreements related to natural gas, natural gas liquids, and other petroleum products, including gathering, processing, transportation (by pipeline, rail, motor carrier, and/or marine vessel), storage, terminalling, fractionation, and processing
- Counsel business clients on commercial agreements and arrangements
- Assist with legal matters related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including due diligence activities
- Advise clients on joint venture agreements
- Collaborate with business clients and other attorneys to achieve business objectives

Minimum Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate and licensed to practice law in Texas or Oklahoma (or eligible to be admitted immediately)
- 4-10 years of legal experience, preferably with substantial law firm experience
- Strong academic background
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), legal analysis, drafting, and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment, responding quickly to commercial demands
- Commercial, pragmatic, and flexible approach, with the ability to understand complex commercial arrangements
- Experience providing legal advice to senior level business leaders
- Strong relationship building skills and ability to work with clients at all levels
- Team player with a "no job is too big or too small" attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of outcomes

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience negotiating and drafting midstream agreements related to natural gas, natural gas liquids, and other petroleum products
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including due diligence activities
- Basic understanding of federal and state regulations for common carrier natural gas liquids or petroleum liquid pipelines
- Experience negotiating, drafting, and/or administering joint venture agreements
